Angela M. Carpenter, CNM, MSN

Since working with Monarch Angela has delivered over 597 babies.  She happens to keep count of every baby she delivers, each one a miracle and each mother a champion.

Angela is a native of Michigan. After graduation, she immediately started working in labor & delivery. She then continued and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2006. Angela continued to follow her dream of becoming a Nurse Midwife and earned her Master’s degree in Midwifery from Philadelphia University in 2009.  Angela received her certification from the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM).

She Chose this Field Because:

Angela’s first son, born 19 years ago was delivered by a Nurse Midwife at Langley Air Force Base.  The love and support she gave to her husband and Angela led her to further pursue her education as a Nurse-Midwife.  “The birth of my son was personal, intimate and life changing for me, my nurse-midwife made it that way” Angela Carpenter.  Angela now delivers the same level of intimate care to her patients.

What you May Not Know about Her:

Angela married her husband, Damion in 1993, and they have two boys Darrien and Donovan. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, shopping, and listening to jazz music.
