Kelly Davis, MSN

Kelly is a native of Georgia and attended the University of South Carolina on a Naval ROTC scholarship. She graduated from USC with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 1996. Upon graduation, Kelly was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy and was stationed at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Kelly worked briefly on a specialty surgery unit, but quickly found her niche as a labor and delivery nurse. Kelly attained the rank of lieutenant and left the Navy after five years to transition to a civilian hospital. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Maryview Medical Center for another five years before deciding to pursue a graduate degree.

Kelly earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in 2006, and received her certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the National Certification Corporation. She is a member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.

Kelly has a special interest in adolescent gynecology, and also enjoys obstetrics and health promotion throughout all phases of a woman’s life, helping females of all ages keep their minds and bodies in great health.

What you may not know about her:

Kelly married her husband Brian in 1998 and they have twin daughters, Kaitlyn and Meghan. She enjoys boating, skiing, reading, and spending time with her family.
