Mary Ojo-Carons, MD, MS

Dr. Mary Ojo-Carons graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She also attended The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now Rutgers University, where she received her Master’s in Biomedical Science. In 2010, Dr. Ojo-Carons received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. She completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Ojo-Carons has published papers in peer reviewed journals and had her research presented at The Society of Gynecological Surgeons and Society of Gynecological Investigation annual meetings. Areas of publication include research on fibroids and infertility.

She is specialized in the evaluation and treatment of fibroids & irregular bleeding, menopause, cervical cancer screening, urinary incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse.

Dr. Ojo-Carons is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and the North American Menopause Society.

She is passionate about women’s health and its impact on the global society.  She enjoys music, cooking, and the outdoors.

Dr. Ojo-Carons is currently accepting new patients at the Lakeview Obstetrics & Gynecology Churchland location and Monarch Women’s Wellness.
