Prayers for Parker, one of our own!

Here at Monarch Women’s Wellness we have the opportunity of delivering life (almost daily), saving lives and relieving pain…  Though sometimes even as surgeons we are brought to a place where even in our advanced level of skill we can’t do anything more.

We are used to being able to do something… being able to help make a miracle happen.  But this weekend it’s hit one of our own.

We are all Mothers here at Monarch, we know what it’s like to hear our baby cry for the first time.  We know what it’s like to love your child so much it’s as if he or she carries your heart wherever they go.  And tonight as we type this we find ourselves in only one place…

The place where we go when we know it’s not up to us to save a life.. it’s not up to us to shoulder the pain (though we wish we could), we get down on our knees.

So we ask you to all join us, whatever your faith may be, as we hope and pray for Tessa and Ryan Fly and their 12 year old son,  Parker Fly.   Tessa, our billing manager, has been with us for over 10 years… to us she is family.  Her son Parker is fighting for his life at Georgetown University Hospital waiting on a much needed liver transplant.

We are sharing Parker’s story and asking for prayers for this sweet family.  You can follow updates on Parker Fly and make a donation  at Prayers for Parker on Facebook.

You can also help support the family by attending any one of the many local events scheduled. All events are listed on the Prayers for Parker Facebook page.

Thank you for your support and prayers!
